Modern agricultural machinery must meet extremely high standards in terms of enhanced performance, reliability, user-friendly operation, and lower energy consumption. With products that are based on modular systems and many years of experience in mobile hydraulics, HAWE Hydraulik SE of Munich has much to offer manufacturers of agricultural machinery in the way of flexible hydraulic controls for individualized machine concepts.
The primary components are a variable- or fixed-displacement delivery pump, proportional directional spool valves, programmable logic valve control, and hydraulic consumer units like cylinders. Each hydraulic function is controlled by a section of the proportional directional spool valves inside the valve bank. Proportional directional spool valves of type PSL from HAWE Hydraulik are especially suitable because of their rugged construction and modular design. The company will be exhibiting its ongoing developments to this valve type ‒ which is particularly suitable for agricultural machinery ‒ at the Agritechnica 2011.
A connection block for the proportional directional spool valve makes the hydraulic system of the accessory equipment independent from the tractor’s hydraulic system. Farmers don’t need to worry about whether their tractor has a variable or a fixed-displacement pump. A new feature of the PSL series is a float position that is switched with pilot-operated check valves by means of a patented controller. The type HMPL lifting module transforms hydraulic systems for tractors into flexible, energy-saving, and compact solutions and enables farmers to achieve higher productivity per unit area. Finally, the equipment also includes the programmable logic valve control type PLVC, which offers a variety of analyses to support efficient field work.
Hydraulic systems from HAWE feature built-in flexibility and are designed with the option of retrofitting additional functions at a later time. The use of steel as the material for all pressurized components is a special advantage for agricultural machinery because it endows the components with the properties of strength, pressure resistance, and long service life. Steel enables components to be built with compact dimensions so that they can be accommodated under the machine cladding or as close as possible to the hydraulic consumer units.
