At the end of 2011 HAWE Hydraulik SE received an environment and energy certificate for its Munich site. It has become the fifth such site of HAWE Hydraulik to meet the requirements of the environmental management standard DIN EN ISO 1400 and is the second site to comply with the requirements of the energy management standard EN 16001.
The site in Munich houses not just a HAWE Hydraulik factory but is also home to the administration and such central functions as purchasing and procurement, transportation logistics or marketing, all of which were duly examined during the environmental audit. Consequently the environmental certificate corresponds with the matrix certification granted over the past few years to the plants in Dorfen, Kirchheim, Sachsenkam and Freising.
With the environmental management audit, the Nuremberg based Intechnica Cert GmbH, certifies conformity with environment-relevant laws and standards as well as HAWE-internal stipulations.
The energy management certificate confirms the successful audit of the energy policy, the energy management system plus documentation, energy aspects as well as the strategic and operative energy targets of HAWE Hydraulik.
