HAWE Hydraulik SE, Munich, introduces a further development of the NBVP directional seated valve that not only offers very high switching reliability, but also meets the requirements of ISO 13849. Thanks to its design as a zero-leakage cone seated valve, it is especially suitable for clamping workpieces and tools in machining centers.

A new feature is the positive switching overlap in the 2/2-way version with switching position monitoring. This minimizes the oil flow at the instant of closure to the amount of leakage with directional spool valves. In addition, the signal chain for the switching position monitoring has been improved. With the NBVP valve, machine users can be doubly sure that the operating pressure of a pressurized consumer will not drop. When closed, the cone seated design prevents leakage, while during switching the positive switching overlap maintains operating pressure.

In the closed, non-actuated position the maximum possible operating pressure is 400 bar at a volume flow of max. 20 l/min. The connection pattern corresponds to NG6.
